My pick for my favorite album of the year is Swedish Metal band Avatar and their 9th studio album Dance Devil Dance. I saw them live in NYC this year and they put on a awesome fun energized show. The rest of my list is filled with a wide range of genres with some classic bands like Overkill, Saxon and Metallica who continue to put out solid albums and some Heavy Hitters like Cannibal Corpse and Enslaved. It has been a great year for metal and looking for more in 2024. Metal is my lifeblood!!!
