FATAL MOON

Leather Duchess

Los Angeles is serving up yet another set of rock ‘n rollers that know how to tap into the core of the hair metal roots, Leather Duchess. Late last year (2022) the band released their highly anticipated sophomore record, Fatal Moon, and are now touring the United States coast to coast until late August 2023. This band is anthem material just waiting to get picked up and run with. Seriously! Most tracks make you feel like you need to kick down a door and yell while others move you to lay face up on the floor of a pitch black room. Alongside the one-of-a-kind album artwork done by the one and only Tommy Pons, this band is one of the most anachronistic groups of people you’ll ever lay eyes on. Where have they been my whole life!?

The VOICE! Heath’s voice BELLOWS and takes you back to the early Cinderella or Hollywood Rose days. Nobody sounds like this anymore! It’s relieving to hear it and have it be recent and not from before I was even a thought in my moms head. After seeing the band live, it felt like I had just walked out of the Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, California when I really just walked out of a private music mecca in Northfield, Ohio. Having the physical copy of Fatal Moon in hand blasts you to when vinyl was the only way to grab your new favorite record. Imagine it: running into your local record store in hopes to snag the newest record from your favorite band. The exhilaration sets in once you open it up to see the stunning blue and white exclusive press in YOUR hands. That’s right, YOU own their newest record. Absolute serendipity.
