February 2007 – Georgina Strilakos – NOW – Writer for us THE METAL PIT
Georgina Strilakos is a dedicated metal enthusiast with a deep passion for heavy music. November 2008 – Angela Gossow – THEN vocalist for Arch Enemy – NOW Manager of ARCH ENEMY
Angela Gossow is a pioneering figure in metal, best known as the former lead vocalist of Arch Enemy. She joined the band in 2000, becoming one of the first prominent female vocalists in extreme metal. March 2009 – Britta Goertz – THEN vocalist for Cripper (thrash Germany) NOW singer for HIRAES
Britta Goertz is a powerful vocalist in the metal scene, best known for her work with bands like Hiraes and Critical Mess. Renowned for her intense growls and commanding stage presence, she has carved out a significant space in the death metal and melodic death metal genres. Britta’s career took off with the thrash metal band Cripper, where she showcased her versatile vocal range. After Cripper disbanded, she continued to push boundaries with her new projects, gaining respect for her dynamic performances and raw energy. Britta Görtz remains a prominent figure, influencing the next generation of metal vocalists.


August 2009 – Britt Lightning – THEN Guitarist for Jaded, NOW for VIXEN
Britt Lightning is a highly talented guitarist known for her work with the legendary all-female rock band Vixen. With her energetic stage presence and impressive technical skills, Britt has established herself as a standout performer in the rock and metal scene. Before joining Vixen, she played with bands like Jaded and had a successful solo career, showcasing her versatile guitar work across various genres. As the lead guitarist for Vixen, Britt continues to carry the legacy of the band, delivering powerful performances and contributing to their classic hard rock sound. February 2010 – Alissa White-Gluz – THEN vocalist for The Agonist – NOW ARCH ENEMY
Alissa White-Gluz is a renowned vocalist, best known as the frontwoman for the melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. She joined the band in 2014, bringing her signature blend of fierce growls and clean vocals. Before Arch Enemy, Alissa fronted the Canadian metalcore band The Agonist, where she developed a reputation for her dynamic vocal range and intense performances. Beyond her music, Alissa is a strong advocate for animal rights and veganism, often using her platform to promote these causes. Her powerful stage presence and vocal prowess have solidified her as one of the most influential female voices in metal today.


March 2010 – Kim Dylla – THEN vocalist for This Means You – NOW —KYLA CUSTOM ROCK WEAR
Kim Dylla is a versatile musician and artist, best known for her time as a vocalist with the iconic band GWAR, where she performed under the stage name Vulvatron. Her fierce vocals and theatrical stage presence made a significant impact during her tenure with the band. Outside of GWAR, Kim has contributed her unique voice to various projects across the metal genre like The Burned Over and Ekktoplasm. In addition to her music career, Kim is a talented costume designer and founder of Kylla Custom Rock Wear, creating stage outfits for many well-known musicians.


April 2010 – Vena Kava – THEN vocalist for Killing Moon – NOW – ATOMIC FLESH
Vena Kava extreme Metal Vocalist from Quebec, Canada. Current fronting new band Atomic Flesh. Who just recently released 2 new songs. Look them up on YouTube. Former singer for Aversion, Killing Moon and Whipkraft.


June 2010 – Heidi Shepherd – Vocalist for BUTCHER BABIES
Heidi Shepherd is a dynamic vocalist best known as the frontwomen for the metal band Butcher Babies. Heidi has helped redefine heavy music with her powerful screams, energetic performances, and unique vocal style. Butcher Babies gained prominence with their aggressive sound, blending elements of groove, thrash, and metalcore. Heidi’s charismatic stage presence and fierce persona have made her a standout figure in the modern metal scene. Beyond music, she is an advocate for female empowerment in metal, breaking barriers and inspiring a new generation of metal artists with her bold, unapologetic approach.


July 2010 – Ivy Vujic – Guitarist for KITTIE
Ivy Vujic is a talented bassist best known for her work with Canadian metal bands Kittie and Thine Eyes Bleed. Joining Kittie in 2007, she brought a solid groove and heavy sound to the band’s live performances and recordings, including their *In the Black* album. Her dynamic stage presence and technical skill made her an integral part of Kittie’s lineup during her time with the band. In addition to her work as a musician, Ivy has also been involved in various creative projects within the metal community. She remains a respected figure in the metal scene for her musicianship and contributions. Kittie has reformed again and Ivy is apart of it once again.


December 2010 – Diva Satanica – THEN not in a band, NOW BLOODHUNTER
Diva Satanica, is a powerful vocalist best known for fronting the Spanish melodic death metal band Bloodhunter. With her ferocious growls and commanding stage presence, she has gained recognition for her contributions to the extreme metal scene. Diva’s vocal range and intensity have made her a standout, particularly in the male-dominated genre of death metal. Known for her passionate performances, Diva Satanica continues to inspire metal fans and push boundaries within the genre. Back when she was a metal Maiden of the Month she was a fan, model and worked with some bands. It was so nice to see her make the change to extreme vocalist. January 2012 – Lena Scissorhands – Vocalist for INFECTED RAIN
Lena Scissorhands, is the dynamic frontwoman of the Moldovan metal band Infected Rain. Known for her powerful vocal range, which spans from melodic singing to aggressive growls, Lena has become a prominent figure in the modern metal scene. With Infected Rain, she has helped shape a unique sound that blends elements of metalcore, nu-metal, and groove metal. October 2012 – Gretchen Menn – guitarist for her SOLO and for ZEPPARELLA
Gretchen Menn is a highly skilled guitarist known for her innovative approach to rock and classical music. As the lead guitarist for the all-female Led Zeppelin tribute band Zepparella, she has earned praise for her technical precision and ability to capture the essence of Jimmy Page’s iconic style. Beyond Zepparella, Gretchen’s solo work showcases her mastery of diverse genres, blending rock, classical, and progressive elements. An accomplished composer, she has released solo albums that highlight her creativity and versatility. Gretchen’s dedication to her craft, coupled with her dynamic performances, has made her a standout figure in the world of guitar-driven music.


November 2012 – Lena Abé – Bass for MY DYING BRIDE
Lena Abé is the bassist for the UK-based doom metal band My Dying Bride, one of the pioneers of the death-doom genre. Since joining the band in 2007, Lena has contributed her deep, brooding basslines to their melancholic and atmospheric sound. Her playing is integral to the band’s dark, emotional music, blending seamlessly with the heavy guitars and sorrowful melodies. Lena’s presence in My Dying Bride has been a key element in the band’s continued evolution, as they maintain their status as one of the leading acts in doom metal. Her talent and dedication have earned her recognition in the metal community.


December 2012 – Guitarist – THE GREAT KAT
The Great Kat, a virtuoso guitarist and violinist known for her high-speed, shredding style and blend of classical music with heavy metal. A Juilliard-trained violinist, she transitioned to guitar and became renowned for her fierce performances and technically demanding compositions. The Great Kat is celebrated for her modern adaptations of classical masterpieces, including works by Beethoven, Paganini, and Vivaldi, infused with her signature thrash metal intensity. With her provocative persona and lightning-fast playing, she has earned a reputation as one of the most unique and influential figures in the world of neoclassical metal shredding.
